SITE CHARACTERIZATION AND RESTORATION
- Environmental characterization and decontamination (phases I, II, III, IV)
of sites, buildings (commercial/residential) and industrial plants.
- Contaminant hydrogeology, modeling of plume migration.
- Plans and specifications for site remediation and selection of
decontamination technologies.
- Inspection of decontamination works and final certification.
- Turnkey projects, from characterization to decontamination to final
certification; work is performed by trusted teams of subcontractors that
have been associated with NCL for many years.
- Environmental studies and rehabilitation works of listed sites in
accordance with Bill 72. (Experts: Nicola U. Capozio and Louis Picard)
- Direct experience with the technologies of solidification, neutralization,
(chemical oxidation) covering and isolation with geomembranes, washing
with surfactants, aeration, and biological treatment.
- Extraction, separation and treatment of floating phases and contaminated
ground waters; hydraulic barriers and water table recharge.
- Investigation, removal and restoration of underground storage tanks,
hydraulic lifts and oil separators (turn key projects/inspection of works).
- Studies by our structural and geotechnical engineers to ensure the
structural stability of buildings while performing decontamination work
underneath or in the proximity of these buildings.
- Predemolition audits.
- Decommissioning of industrial plants and mine sites.
